Mid-year exam is finally over!!! I was relieved when our teacher said "Masa untuk menjawab sudah tamat. Sila letakkan pen dan berhenti menjawab." It had been three tormenting weeks for me. Since the first week of the mid-year exam, I started having symptoms of fever and flu. As expected, I got flu and fever on the second week of exam...not to mention i also got cough, sore throat and headache. I had a hard time studying history as I felt drowsy every time I open the book... The third week was better physically but not in my exam paper! I blew my add maths paper =.=" (I did not manage to finish doing a few questions in paper 1 which will cause me dearly... and my paper 2... many careless mistakes!) Well, never mind. It's only a trifle thing to worry about especially when it's holidays!! I have not yet planned how to use my holidays, but I have to go for choir competition on the first week... Wish our choir team good luck and enjoy your freedom...at least for now!
Happy holidays to all primary and secondary students!!! MES choir team, go go go!
Hello all~Welcome to my blog.
Now, I would like to share my first story here. Last Sunday, me and my team participated the Star Mighty Mind Challenge. My team consist of 3 people, me Ka Man and Man Howe. There were 2 teams that represent our school and my team is team B. When we first arrived, we saw many people at there that were also going to participate the same competition as us. The atmosphere was heavy and I can feel all the nervousness and exitement of the participants crowding inside the shopping mall. After registered, we went for the first challenge, answering quizzes. There were 20 questions based on science, maths and general knowledge and there were 60 teams involved in this first group. We outstand for the first 7 questions, but getting more wrong questions as time went on. I wondered if the reason behind this was because one of our team members were sick...(or was this just a lame excuse to comfort myself?)
As a result, we failed to excel in the first challenge and failed to proceed to the next and the last challenge. Even though our group lost, but group A of our school succeed in getting into top 30 and will proceed to the next challenge. In the second challenge, all participants were required to make an alarm clock using materials they provided in one and a half hour. In the end, our school became the champion of the challenge. It was a surprise for all of us but we felt proud of it. It was indeed a nice challenge and I had a good time. It was a good experience for me and I learned a lot of things...Congratulations Methodist!!!!!!
