Today, our school organized Hari Anugerah 2009. It started at 2.00pm with the arrival of YAB Datuk Wee Ka Siong as the 'perasmi' of that ceremony. There were a series of performaces arranged by the committee members of the ceremony such as robot show, choir, 'silat' and others. I was not involved in any of the performances, so it was quite boring to wait for my turn to get the certificates and trofies. While waiting for my turn, I saw the last year form 5 students came for their parts. It was a tiring day and I felt very tired after that ceremony. After the ceremony finished, me and my friends ate 'bihun goreng' and 'karipap' that were supposed to be the invited guests meal ^.^
Happy Hari Anugerah for all MES students!!
Last Saturday, I went to school with my friends for a physics session held by my physics teacher. We was quite late when we reached there, but we managed to get our discussion on the National Physics Competition questions. The questions was very hard and requires thinking. Also on that day, the teachers were holding a coupon recounting session because they found out there were about 1121 fake coupons collected during the last canteen day! We should've been given warning on fake coupons before canteen day... now only the teachers realize the fake coupons, its too late to prevent loss which is quite a large amount there: Rm1121/2 because the society needs to pay for the other half... Many KRS future-to-be leader was also there to decorate the KRS Board. It was not very nice, but not too bad also (ours was much nicer even though we did it on the last minute >.<). The physics class ended at 12.30 noon. We was tired after doing all the past year questions and we went to a cafe nearby to have our lunch. Hopefully that's not the reason I am sick today!! @.@

There will be a total solar eclipse at July 22 (Wednesday) this year and it is 2 days away from us! This eclipse is said to be the longest eclipse in 21st century where the maximum duration of totality reaches 6 minutes 39 seconds. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes most of eastern Asia, Indonesia, and the Pacific Ocean. At Malaysia, the time at
Kuala Lumpur is from 07:29:00 AM to 08:48:44 AM. Even though it happens in the morning, but I hope we can see it >.<
Get yourself ready for this golden chance to watch a total eclipse even though it is only partial at Malaysia XD
Yesterday was my school canteen day. I went to school early with my friends to prepare the stall which we will use to sell ice-creams. Our stall was named "Snowy Delight" and we managed to figure out a variety of ice-creams which tasted good, looked good and cheap in ingredient costs the day before canteen day. After setting up the stall, we waited for other students to come and buy our ice-creams. There were little students that passed by and stopped at our stall to buy ice-creams since it was still early in the morning. As the time passed by, more and more students started buying and we got really busy working. I only managed to get some time off the stall to go around and see whats happening in the school. I also helped the tennis club which were organizing some indoor games. Many students played their games since the grand prize is worth RM10. It was indeed a tiring day and we had our lunch at KFC to celebrate our success!

Last Friday, I went to a trip organized by Christian Fellowship (CF) with my friends. The destination was UTAR college at Kampar. We departed to there at about 7.30 morning and reached there at about 9 morning. Firstly, we had a talk on 'Super Memory'. It was fun and nice. The talk was short but the lecturer gave us jokes and taught us many things. The we had another similar talk by another lecturer. By the time the talk ended, we had lunch at the college's canteen. The food there was nice, at least better than our school's food... After that, we were given the permission to see the exhibitions with our friends. I went around with another two of my friends, played a few games and watched the magic performance before departing to Ipoh.
At Ipoh, we were brought to Jaya Jusco to shop and have fun. Many of my male friends went to watch Transformer 2 while I went shopping with the girls and 2 other male friends. We went to MPH Bookstore first. I was hoping to buy Inheritance Cycle Book 3 "Brisingr" but the cashier said it was out of stock. Feeling disappointed, we went to Popular Bookstore instead. I was excited when I saw the book a just outside the shelf when I entered the bookstore. But the price was so expensive that it cost me RM76 just for that book! Then, we went for dinner at Pizza Hut. We had pizza and some of us had spagetti. We also went to shops to buy clothes which suddenly occured to us that we bought birthday presents for those who will have their birthday soon. I personally received one cloth as present from my friends as my birthday is coming in one month. The other two of my friends also got their present. Then we departed back to Tanjong Malim. We sang all the way back home. It was a nice trip indeed!
I also declared broke after spending about RM130 that day... >.<

Check it out! I saw this picture in a magazine recently. I was like "huh!? What's this?" then I found it really interesting. This is a smiling rainbow which is opposite of what we usually see in our daily life. The "smiling" band of brilliant colours is known as a circumzenithal arc. It occurs when sunlight bounces off ice crystals high in the atmosphere, sending the light rays back up towards the sky. It differs from a normal rainbow where light penetrates raindrops and re-emerges on the other side heading towards earth, causing a drooping effect. Upside down are rarely seen outside the polar regions and need a particular set of atmospheric conditions in order to occur. Some people even call it " smile of God"!
Smile more ^.^ CHEESE~~
The NS list was released recently. Instantly it became our gossip title. Everyone was talking about it, asking their friends if they got NS or not and it included me... I was so relieved when I received the SMS : I did not get NS!! Though NS is a quite healthy activity, I would not like to spend my holidays after SPM in there. Its a wastage of time. Some of my friends got their name in NS list...I really pity them for that even though I did not know they liked it or not. Anyway I wish good luck to those who got NS. Stay out for trouble~~
Happy NS~~
