In the holidays, my family and I went to a book fair at The Mines. It was very big and crowded. I felt quite excited when I first stepped into the book fair. Soon, I was disappointed when I realized there was not much English storybooks sold there! There were all sorts of Chinese books sold there which I did not liked because I have no interest in Chinese storybooks. There were also many promoter promoting their stuffs such as the laptops, mobile phones, magazines and much more. Sometimes they were quite annoying because they always pull people and talk all the bluffs before letting them go... In the book fair, I did not buy any book. It was a very disappointing trip for me!
Last week, our school team had sent a choir team for state level competition. It consist of 35 students including me (if I am not mistaken) and we went for the competition for 2 days, which were Tuesday and Wednesday at Grik, Perak. It was a terrible and unforgetable experience for me, especially the vast amount of mosquitoes that had a "grandeur fiesta" the moment we stepped out of the bus!!! On the next day, we set out with confidence. We had high hopes of getting top three. Unfortunately, we lose the competition due to anxiety and sudden stage fright of all choir member...
It had been one and a half week of holidays. I had spent my holidays by enjoying it even though I did not exactly enjoyed it (because I liked to online)... I had only ate, slept, watched TVs and done little readings. I spent even lesser time on-lining because my computer had problems and I am lazy to fix it... At least that's quite an achivement for myself (does those things counted as achievements? =.="). There's one thing that I always feel strange: when it is not holidays, we hoped holidays will come soon; when it is holidays, we hoped school reopens earlier. I don't know whether it's only me or it's human nature... Haiz, I need to start doing homework that need to be passed up when school reopens. Let us gambateh!!
Enjoy the holidays when you can...^.^
Mid-year exam is finally over!!! I was relieved when our teacher said "Masa untuk menjawab sudah tamat. Sila letakkan pen dan berhenti menjawab." It had been three tormenting weeks for me. Since the first week of the mid-year exam, I started having symptoms of fever and flu. As expected, I got flu and fever on the second week of exam...not to mention i also got cough, sore throat and headache. I had a hard time studying history as I felt drowsy every time I open the book... The third week was better physically but not in my exam paper! I blew my add maths paper =.=" (I did not manage to finish doing a few questions in paper 1 which will cause me dearly... and my paper 2... many careless mistakes!) Well, never mind. It's only a trifle thing to worry about especially when it's holidays!! I have not yet planned how to use my holidays, but I have to go for choir competition on the first week... Wish our choir team good luck and enjoy your freedom...at least for now!
Happy holidays to all primary and secondary students!!! MES choir team, go go go!
