There's been rumours about the date in which spm real result will be announced. Some say it will be announced in late february whilst some say it will be in mid march. Actually, I believe the real one will be in march rather than late february because it seems to be more logical to think that the result will be announced when all first batch NS trainees finish their training. Anyway, I don't really care about the date in which our result will be officially announced. Of course I prefer it to be earlier but our destiny had already been set the moment we finished spm or even earlier-when we finished answering the question papers. So, its just the matter of time for us to reveal it. When the time comes, I think every student will wish to get it another day later as it'll be nerve wrecking!! I even started to feel nervous every now and then. Haha, I hope I won't faint on the spot where I will receive my result due to nervousness. To think back, I was actually quite nervous when I saw my friends received their pmr result. The first few of my friends missed straight As because they scored B in BM or Geography. That even made me more nervous! Haha, luckily I didn't black out when I got my result. The waiting is filled with various feelings and high hope but its all worth it when I got my result. So, I wish for the same when I get my spm result in about 3 weeks time. It may not be straight 1As but I hope it will be a satisfying result. I'm prepared for any result thats worse than what I anticipated. (But no Cs!! That's my principle, hahaha :D)
Well, thats all for now. Any update on the real date will be announced in the newspaper as well as the news. I will also post it on my blog when the time comes. For the meantime, lets just wait patiently, enjoy our free lives and of course pray hard.

I'm back! After staying at my hometown for 3 days or more precisely 2 and a half day, I'm back home! As expected, this year I will be celebrating a rather silent CNY with my friends. Initially a group of about 20 people are reduced to less than half. Most of them went back to NS yesterday while some of them started working. Since I came back at yesterday's evening, I missed the chances to spend some quality time with them. With a lesser amount of people, the whole "visiting-friends'-houses" session were quite silent and boring. There were lesser people chatting around, lesser people to play with and of course the incomplete feeling that I felt as this will be my first CNY without them. Maybe my hopes are too high for this year's CNY because I thought it will be the most enjoyable and merriest year of all as we all finished SPM and there is no constraint for us anymore. Well, I guess this is what people meant when they say " things don't work out as what you expect it to be".
Enough of these pessimistic statement!! Its chinese new year!! To be honest, this year I have pretty good luck in gambling! I won pretty much money. Hahaha, at least this cheers me up. Hopefully this good luck will carry on until my result is out and continue for the rest of the year. I really hope I can secure a scholarship to prevent myself from adding more burden to my parents. Its about 3 more weeks until the moment of truth! Let's wait until then but before that, I will be having my car driving test on next Wednesday. Wish me luck yea!
P.S. I didn't mean to boast or offend anyone about the whole gambling thing. Just take it as a joke yea? :)
Saturday, February 13, 2010Today is Chinese New Year and Valentines Day eve. What does that indicates? For us, the teenagers, we'll be collecting ang pau as we're still not married. Hahaha, its so good for us but its the opposite for married couples and our parents. Well, this year, we'll be celebrating both this meaningful event on the same day!! What a coincidence. According to Chinese Zodiac, this year will be the "Tiger" year. What a fierce one for the year I'm going to get my SPM result. So lets make the tiger look cute. Here's some picture that I can share with you all. So, I'll just wish all Chinese a happy Chinese New Year and all couples a happy Valentines Day.
Happy CNY!!

Cute Tiger!! ^^

Not to forget Valentines day!

Speaking of V. day, of course there'll be lots of chocolate! =)

Its been very long since I got a haircut. From what I can recall, I cut my hair way back a few days before spm exam and that was more than 2 months ago. So you can imagine what my hair will look like: its like a small bush growing on top of my head. My sisters joked it as bird nest which really ticks me off. So, thats the story and reason I choose to cut my hair which I planned to cut it only a few days before I will get my spm result.
I went to the salon after having my lunch and as expected, its fully booked but I managed to squeezed into the barber's "schedule". After waiting for an hour, I found a chance when the man supposed to have his haircut went out for some shopping. So, I consider myself pretty lucky. Unfortunately, that was pretty much the only lucky part of this whole process. Before the barber started to cut my hair, I told her to not cut my hair until too short. I guess she was too busy that she misheard what I told her and continued with my usual schooling hairstyle which is the really short one. As I didn't wear my spectacles, I can't see the process of my hair cutting because everything looked blur. After cutting she asked me if I'm satisfied. So, I wore back my specs and saw this short "product". I was speechless, nevertheless, I never told her she misheard because what is done, its done. Even if I complained, it will be meaningless. After I went back home, I spent quite a while in front of mirror trying to find a solution to make my hair look not so short. Maybe I'll try to put some gel on my hair some other day. It'll be crazy and take a very long time as I never had any experience with it. >.<
So, it was another gloomy day for me. Luckily, my friends consoled me during the gathering session. Its good to see many of my NS friends back to TM!! Most of them became thinner and "darker". (Haha, no offence... ^^) This gathering most probably will be my only chance to see my NS friends as I will go back to Kedah for another 2 days and you all will go back to your camp when I'm back at TM. So, thanks for showing up yea. =) Okay, thats all for now.
Friday, February 12, 2010Its been long since I've been active to update my blog. Now, I'll post a series of updates on my life and the big days coming really soon. Here's the post I typed quite a long time ago but forgot to post it. After some digging up, I accidentally found it and so here I am, posting this article to share with everyone else.
In our lives, we will come to a point when we will have to make decisions on what we want to do in our future. Its crucial for one to make this decision correctly because if this matter is taken lightly, one might regret the choice he/she made later in future and for the rest of his/her lives. Did I sound too serious? Well, it should be. Unfortunately, this decision has to be made while we are still teenagers, which is why this matter is a headache to many students in Malaysia. Although there are some minorities that actually knows what they want to do, there are actually many that do not know what they actually want to do in future despite some of them knowing the subjects they liked the most while others have absolutely no idea what they liked and what they want to pursue in their future endeavour.
Well, if you ask me, among all the subjects I took and studied for spm, my favorite will be additional mathematics, physics and chemistry. So, automatically my choice of career will be engineering. After doing some research on engineering, I found out that many people say engineering courses are for people that like to solve problems. However, I am not sure whether I like to solve problems or not but I'd prefer engineering over medicine, art, agriculture etc which leaves me no choice other than engineering. So, I guess this is it. This will be my choice and no regrets!
Well, Chinese New Year and Valentines day is just around the corner. I wish every chinese a happy chinese new year, every student a happy holiday and every couple a happy valentines day. Cheers. =)

Canon in D, a nice piece by Johann Pachelbel, is quite well known in the world of music. I'm sure almost everyone that played piano would've heard and played this piece. Recently, my online friend sent me a very soothing version of Canon in D. Since I was so bored at home, I decided to play this piece and also send it to my online friend for spending time chatting with me. So, here I am, posting this video to share with all my friends also. =)
Well, this is my first time recording myself playing a piano piece. I made many mistakes while playing it especially at the end part. Hopefully everyone can enjoy it and any comments will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Friday, February 5, 2010Busyness, define it. What I find most interesting is that I am not that busy in these few days and yet I felt I am somehow busy. Did you ever felt the same way and wondered why? Maybe my sisters' hectic life make me felt so? Ridiculous... So, I'll just analyse it why this phenomena happens in our life here.
To make my life less boring, I always try to make it busy. The easiest way is to engage myself in house chores. Yup, I do house chores for at least 2 hours per day. Its not too long but quite tiring. Then, I also attend car driving lessons. It only last for an hour but my feet will feel numb after the lessons. I started playing guitar recently and had a hard time pressing the string as it hurts my fingers. So, had you guys and gals noticed what is common for all these activities? Its TIREDNESS! You think you are busy because you are tired. Haha, I know I got you or maybe you just realized it now after reading my conclusion?
Despite all that, I still feel boring at times as there're not many friends in town that I can visit and talk with. I guess this is the time when online friends play their role huh! Well, thats all for now.
